Anders Gustafssons danish youth drama “Scratch” is a movie full of tears and heartbreaks, desperation and love. 17 year-old Mille (Stephanie León) lives in a hostel for young people because she doesn’t wanna live with her drunk mother. Her boyfriend Kenny (Nickolas Dufour) also lives at the hostel, but he manage to find an apartment for himself and Mille.
That’s happines!
Or what?
Pretty soon Milles life is nothing but a job in a bakery, and a boyfriend who smokes pot and plays playstation all day long. That’s just not good enough!

So Mille starts seeing the hip-hop dude Sami (Christopher Laessoe) who want’s Mille to sing in his band “The Attitudes”. They kiss. A break-up follows. Confusion mixed with joy. Everything escaletes one evening, and suddenly there’s only one way out. You get to feel that in this excelent played youth movie that certainly speaks the language of yong people, but indeed also is worth seeing for those who once were young.
